Overview on Bachelor's and Master's Programmes

The following links give you an overview on the bachelor's and master's programmes in mathematics. All Master's Programmes are offered in English on demand. Since 2014 the modules manual contains English translations of cources in master's programmes.

Available Lectures

For your information on selecting available lectures you can use the following links.

  • times and places of lectures as well as their useability for modules:
list of lectures in CAMPUSonline [en]
The list of lectures is renewed each semester and offers information on times, places and responsible persons for courses, i.e., lectures, execercises, seminars, practical courses, ... . The CAMPUSonline system replaces the commented course catalogue for mathematics and the online course catalogue of the university, see also the news for more information.
  • aims and contents of modules:
    modules manual [de/en]
(July 19, 2016 with English translations of modules in master's programmes)
It is updated each semester and contains all modules for the lectures in mathematics with specifications on contents, aims, useability, prerequisites, ... .
  • regulations for choosing lectures in corresponding modules:
corresponding specific examination regulation (FPO) (in compact form: overview on modules from Appendix 1)
(see the web page of the corresponding course in the bachelor's or master's programmes resp. the table for a quick overview [de] in the guide of study)
Since the specific examination regulation (FPO) is not so often updated, its Appendix 1 offeres an overview on the structure of the studying programme which is quite stable with respect to changes.
  • example schedules for the courses of study from the modules manual
(see the web page of the corresponding course in the bachelor's or master's programmes resp. the table for a quick overview [de] in the guide of study)
They show one possibility how to distribute these modules to the semesters during the study.

Most Recent Versions of the Specific Examination Regulations

The most recent version of the examination regulations (including an archive for older versions) is presented at the following links by the administration of the university. They are available only in German language until now.

*  We make some efforts to update our links. To be on the safe side, we would still ask you to check on the website for examination regulations of the university [de], whether the versions we cite the most recent ones. Thank you!
