In the new CHE-Ranking 2018 of master’s degree programmes in the study of mathematics and computer science, the University of Bayreuth has achieved impressive results. In terms of internationalisation, the University achieved very good results with both degree programmes. In addition to other European partnerships, the Department of Mathematics has close cooperations with the University of Padua and Stockholm University as well as with The University of Newcastle in Australia. The CHE ranking also shows that the master’s programmes in mathematics are among the best in Germany when it comes to the rapid completion of the degree.
